
The CSV import dialog was updated, now you can easily deal with cases in which the CSV file contains a lot of fields. Previously this would be difficult because there is no easy way to indicate the corresponding fields in the CSV file and on the SIM. This is not that much of a problem on 2G cards, which have only two fields – name and number; but in the case of Nextel cards this is quite a challenge. The effect is multiplied when we take into account the fact that usually CSV files are used to export the contacts from Microsoft Outlook or Palm Desktop (actually, any mail client or PIM application can be used in this example) – their address books contain a lot of fields, most of which are not relevant in the context of the SIM.
